SECOND GRADE FRIDAY NEWS
Week of January 26-30
Our
chapel offerings this quarter will be used to buy cheerful items for the
residents of Briarwood Nursing home.
Our
“big” memory work for the third quarter is to name all the books of the
Bible. We are singing the song each day
and most students will do better when they are tested if they sing the books
rather than say them. Let’s try to
master the Old Testament books by mid February and then the New Testament by
the end of the quarter. They already
know these pretty well from first grade.
This
is National Lutheran Schools Week. Be
sure to check the note to see what special events are happening each day. We expect to have a great week!
Your
child’s latest STAR reading test is coming home today. Let me know if you have any questions.
