Spring Flowers

It's time to plant your begonias outside.  The children decorated temporary flower pots and planted begonias during Nature Club last week.  After our Nature Club meeting, we had time to enjoy popscicles on the playground.  We talked about the parts of plants and their functions.  We also discussed what plants need in order to grow well.  Our begonias would prefer morning sun only.  They need to be sheltered from the hot afternoon sun.  Keep them watered and you will be rewarded with beautiful blooms all summer.
