On Tuesday, May 7, our Nature Club (kdg. and 1st
grade) will go to the Nature Center downtown and picnic at Riverfront
Park. All parents are welcome. Children may wear play clothes that day. They may wear their blue CLS t-shirts, but
are not required to. All children must
bring a lunch and drink. I will be out
of town on the afternoon of May 3 and all day on May 6. If you have any last minute questions about
the field trip, please contact Mrs. McNabb.
Field Day is Friday, May 3. Children may wear play clothes that day, but
must wear shoes and socks appropriate for running. The games will begin at 9:00 and will end
around 11:00. Children may buy the
school lunch (hot dog) or bring a lunch box.
There will be no option lunch that day.
After lunch, we will do quiet, fun activities in the classroom (stories,
puzzles, movies). Can you help us with
Field Day games on Friday, May 3 from 8:30 to 11:30? If you can help, please let me know or call
the front office.
