First Grade Friday News - April 15

 

We will leave school at 9:00 on Monday, April 15, for the P. Allen Smith farm.  We plan to return to school by 2:30.  Remember that all children must bring a lunch and drink.  Children should wear CLS t-shirts and shorts or jeans.  No sandals, please.  We will be outside, so dress for the weather.  Our drivers are:  Hauser, Hether, Baker, Hall, Settle, Lamb, Denman, Richardson, Sanford, Dunn, and Farah.

I hope that you can join us for our final field trip of the year.  On May 7, our Nature Club (kdg. and 1^st grade) will go to the Nature Center downtown and picnic at Riverfront Park.  All parents are welcome.  Let me know if you can help drive.

Fri., Apr. 12                Book orders due (Pay by check to Scholastic Books or order online.)

Mon., Apr. 15              Field trip to P. Allen Smith Farm

Tues., May 7               Field trip to Nature Center
