Second Grade Friday News - Sept. 26

Chapel offerings until October 8 will go to Food for Kids.  Please bring food items from the list to help feed hungry children in central Arkansas.

Our field trip to Heifer Village in downtown Little Rock is on Monday, Sept. 29.  We will leave school at 9:00 and return around 11:00.  Children should wear their blue CLS spirit shirts.  Our drivers will be:  Dunn, Farah, LeMaster, and Litwa.  Drivers should arrive at school at 9:00.  Our CLS tag day money from August and September will be donated to Heifer. Our 2nd and 3rd graders have voted to buy a goat, some rabbits, a flock of ducks, and a flock of geese.  We will deliver the check to Heifer when we go on our field trip.

The first quarter ends on Friday, October 10.  All children must recite the Lord’s Prayer and the Morning Prayer by October 10.  All children need to reach their AR goal by October 10.  My apologies if I wrote October 3 on any of my communications to you.  Somehow I got a week ahead of myself!  Let me know if you have any questions.
