A little mud couldn't stop us from enjoying our last day in the CLS gardens. We pulled weeds and cleaned up our garden space. The students were hard workers and got a lot done. We even found a nest of baby rabbits! Don't worry. We covered the nest back up and left the rabbits' "neighborhood". There were plenty of weeds to pull in other sections of the garden. This was a great way to spend some time during our last week of first grade.

Final Field Trip
Our kindergarten and first grade classes went on our last field trip of the year to the Nature Center. We learned about animal camouflage and then went on an animal hunt through the Nature Center. After that, we ate our picnic lunches at Riverfront Park and played on the playground. This has been a wonderful year!
